
T. Ryder Booth
Vice President, Chevron Technology, Projects and Execution
Ryder Booth is vice president, Technology, Projects and Execution for Chevron Corporation, based in Houston, Texas, where he oversees the development and scaling of innovative technology solutions to support the current and future energy system. The role leads the company’s organizations in health, safety and environment, information technology, innovation, capital projects, facilities engineering, operations and turnarounds, asset retirement, global reserves and supply chain management in support of Chevron’s global operations.
Ryder was most recently vice president of Chevron Americas Exploration & Production Company where he oversaw its Mid-Continent Business Unit, a position he has held since August 2021. In this role, he was responsible for managing Chevron’s large resource base of oil and liquids-rich assets in the Permian basin.
During his 30-year career with Chevron, Ryder has held numerous technical and management positions in Chevron global upstream business, including assignments in Bangladesh, China, Indonesia, Kazakhstan and the United States. Previously Ryder served as vice president of Capital Projects and as Chevron’s Chief Procurement Officer.
He joined Chevron in 1991 as a facility engineer in the Mid-Continent Business Unit after graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Vanderbilt University.
